Alternative fuel provider N + P HAS extended its refuse derived fuel (RDF) supply agreement with RWE for another five years.

RDF delivered to RWE’s waste-to-energy plant in Essen- Karnap, West Germany, is produced from a mixture of non-recyclable commercial waste.

Generated energy from the site is then used for district heating and electricity generation, with the Essen-Karnap incineration plans among the top energy converters of all waste incineration plants in Germany.

Around 30 to 35% of N+P’s portfolio is delivered from the UK.
