JCB will be hosting the ‘ORG Conference 2017 – New Directions and Smarter Practices’, on 23 March 2017 at the JCB World Headquarters in Rochester, Staffs.

David Banks, sales manager, waste and recycling at JCB, (pictured) will be among the conference speakers.

“We look forward to welcoming delegates and speakers from all parts of the Waste and Recycling sector to JCB’s HQ. When it comes to selecting materials handling machines for this industry, 'Fit for Purpose' no longer means just lifting. In my session at the conference, I will offer a deeper definition. This will demonstrate how the right machine can meet the challenges presented by waste and recycling sites, improve productivity and, at the same time, ensure safety.”

Organics Recycling 2017 will be opened with an address from Alexander Maddan, chair, Organics Recycling Group. This one-day conference, exhibition and gala dinner gathers the sector together to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

"Delegates will gain an up-to-date insight into the important ‘must know’ information at the event, which is also an ideal opportunity to meet like-minded individuals that share a passion and interest for organics recycling," said a spokesperson from the Organics Recycling Group.

ORG 2017 will feature speakers from across the sector including Eco Sustainable Solutions, SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK, the Renewable Energy Association, the Environment Services Association, the National Farmer’s Union, SESA, Meerlanden, Compost Manager and Earthcare Technical
