Energy from Waste Conference 2019 opens for registration

The EfW Conference will return to etc. Venues, County Hall for 2019

The Energy from Waste Conference has opened for registration for its 15th annual event.

Taking place 26-28 February, 2019 at etc. Venues County Hall, London, the conference will welcome a host of international speakers, technologists, government and industry.

Held in association with RWW, the Energy from Waste Conference 2019 offers an extensive programme designed to promote discussion and debate among the international EfW industry, thought leaders and key decision makers.

The opening keynote will be delivered by Defra deputy director for waste and recycling Chris Preston.

Highlights include a panel debate looking at the long-term role for EfW in the UK, latest projects in the EfW market and future developments.

Sessions will also cover overcoming planning objections, heat networks, site safety standards, business incentives and skills and training and diversity in EfW industry.

The programme hosts professionals representing ESA, Department for International Trade, Eunomia, SUEZ, Cory, CEWEP, Attero and Energia.

Delegates are also invited to attend a visit to the Viridor Ardley ERF plant in Bicester, Oxfordshire, which deals with 300,000 tonnes of non-recyclable waste per year.
