The new waste segregation centre in Peterborough

Waste management provider Mick George Recycling has announced a £2.6m investment in three new recycling segregation plants.

The company opened its new waste segregation centre in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough with work underway to build two more plants at company sites in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire and Great Billing, Northamptonshire.

The plants are planned to be in operation in the Spring.

Mick George has managed large volumes of waste from construction, industrial and domestic sources for over 40 years.

MD Michael George said: "Regulations from overseas with regards to waste contamination levels is increasingly under scrutiny. We want to do our utmost in ensuring we’re supplying quality materials without sanction.

"In a market that is very competitive, our continued investment and innovative approach to technology allows us to provide our clients with the most efficient service.”
