CS recycling managing director Craig Curtis has been elected as the new president of The Recycling Association.

He replaces Adrian Jackson, who has stepped down after return from the industry.

Jackson is already a member of the association’s board and was heavily involved in creating its response to the Resources and Waste Strategy consultations.

Curtis said: "With the recently published Resources & Waste Strategy and extended producer responsibility coming into force, it is a time of great change for the recycling industry and I am excited to work in this role to help the industry reach its potential.

“I will continue working on growing the membership, lobbying the government and the EU, increasing our networking opportunities and promoting our Quality First campaign.”
